A blend of Brazilian speciality-grade coffee with selected industrial hemp plants, Cannabis sativa L. of the Santhica 70 variety.

Speciality Hemp Coffee is the fruit of collaboration between two experienced artisan baristas from Łódź and the pioneer of the industrial hemp industry – INNUBIO. It is an exceptional coffee – mild and classic in taste, soft and fluffy in texture. Recommended for espresso and for milk-based coffees brewed traditionally, as well as in filter and pressure machines.

It owes its distinctly perceptible chocolate-and-nut aroma and low acidity to the natural processing of sun-dried beans, thanks to which the characteristic sweetness contained in the pulp passes into the bean itself.

The roasting process itself is carried out by artisanal methods in a drum roaster and is entirely supervised by a qualified roaster. Bean quality is checked at every stage of coffee production – both before and after roasting. The beans are repeatedly tested using the traditional cupping method, an advanced and selective technique used by sensory analysts to assess the quality of both the aroma and the taste of the coffee beans.

The hemp is added to the coffee beans before grinding, so that it is distributed evenly through the coffee and releases its distinctive aroma.

The Cerrado ecoregion, located in south-western Minas Gerais (Brazil), is known for its uniform climate and constant altitude above sea level. These conditions make it possible to judge the exact moment of harvest perfectly, which translates clearly into the highest and, above all, consistent quality of speciality coffee.
